Seven Pounds

DramaMysteryThriller123 min

Will Smith is Ben Thomas, an IRS agent carrying a fateful secret as he quietly seeks out seven strangers and begins changing their lives. The film keeps Ben’s purpose just out of reach as he inserts himself into intimate, high-stakes situations, including the life of a blind pianist (Woody Harrelson). Rosario Dawson is among the people drawn into Ben’s private mission, and their growing connection starts to complicate the severe plan he has laid out for himself. As Ben moves from one stranger to the next, the story slowly reveals how guilt, sacrifice, and redemption are driving him.
