Widows

CrimeDramaThriller130 min

After a botched robbery in Chicago leaves four thieves dead, their widows inherit the debt — and the danger — left behind. Viola Davis is Veronica, who joins Linda, Alice, and Belle in a plan to steal the money their husbands couldn’t keep. Michelle Rodriguez’s Linda comes to the job from a very different life, and the women’s uneasy alliance unfolds alongside a local political fight tied to the same criminal money. Directed by Steve McQueen, the film threads grief, class, and city corruption through a heist story built on pressure and mistrust.
