Inside Denmark’s seat of government, power shifts through coalition deals, media pressure, and private compromise. The series follows the people working in and around Christiansborg as political victories come at a cost, and every decision in parliament spills into homes, marriages, and public scandal. A rising leader is pushed into the center of national power, where holding together a government means bargaining with rivals, managing crises, and deciding which principles can survive the next vote. Around her, advisers, journalists, and family members are pulled into the same machinery, turning policy fights into personal battles over loyalty, ambition, and what public service does to a life outside the office.
