Aaron (Shane Carruth) and Abe (David Sullivan) are engineers working on error-checking technology in a garage when one of their prototypes reveals a way to manipulate time. At first, the discovery stays between them, and they use it to quietly game the stock market. But as the invention becomes harder to control, their partnership starts to fray under secrecy, competing plans, and the problem of keeping track of who did what, and when. The film keeps its focus on the mechanics of the device and the uneasy friendship at the center of it.
