After a botched attempt to steal an ancient katana in East Asia, petty thief Alex Cardo (Daniel Bernhardt) is thrown into prison, where a sadistic guard called Demon singles him out for abuse. Alex's fortunes shift when he meets Master Sun; Pat Morita is the veteran fighter who teaches him a superior martial art called Iron Hand.
