Alexander Skarsgård is a mute bartender with a violent past who plunges into near-future Berlin’s criminal underworld when his girlfriend vanishes. His search leads through nightclubs, back rooms, and gangland corners where every contact seems to be hiding something. Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux turn up as two American medics with their own connection to the city’s seedier side, hovering at the edge of the case as the trail gets stranger and more dangerous. Duncan Jones builds the film as a tech-noir mystery, with Berlin rendered as a neon-lit sprawl of fixers, hustlers, and buried secrets.
