What We Did on Our Holiday

ComedyDrama95 min

Doug and Abi head to the Scottish Highlands with their three children for a big family gathering: Doug’s father Gordie is celebrating his birthday, and the adults are hoping to keep a few private problems out of sight. David Tennant’s Doug and Rosamund Pike’s Abi are already struggling to hold things together, and once the wider family arrives, old tensions and touchy egos start crowding in. Then there are the children, whose honesty makes them the worst possible guardians of any secret. Billy Connolly’s Gordie sits at the center of a holiday where every attempt at keeping up appearances risks coming apart.
