Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

Comedy108 min

Ricky Bobby has built his whole life around being first, turning NASCAR success into a mansion, endorsement deals, and a family that runs on his catchphrases. Will Ferrell is Ricky, a champion driver whose swagger collapses after a defeat by flamboyant French rival Jean Girard (Sacha Baron Cohen). As fear takes over and his place at the top starts to slip, Ricky’s friendship with fellow driver Cal Naughton Jr. and his home life both begin to fracture. The racing-world satire runs on sponsor culture, locker-room bravado, family-table blowups, and absurdly overblown ideas about competition.
