Escape from Pretoria
ActionAdventureCrimeDramaMysteryThriller106 min
South Africa, 1978: Tim Jenkin and Stephen Lee, two white ANC activists jailed by the apartheid regime, begin plotting a way out of Pretoria Prison. Daniel Radcliffe is Jenkin, arrested for his political work and dropped into a system built to crush dissent; alongside him, Daniel Webber's Stephen becomes his partner in a careful, high-risk escape plan. Drawn from a true prison break, the film stays close to the routines, surveillance, and narrow margins inside one of the country’s most notorious prisons, where every conversation and small movement can carry consequences.
