The Professor
ComedyDrama91 min
After a terminal diagnosis upends his life, college professor Richard Brown decides to stop behaving and start saying exactly what he thinks. Johnny Depp is Richard, drifting from lecture halls to bars and family blowups with a reckless streak that rattles his marriage. Rosemarie DeWitt's wife is left to watch him abandon every rule he used to live by, while campus leadership and his students get the full force of his new candor. The film follows Richard as he turns classroom routine and polite academic life into open confrontation, with dark humor running alongside the damage he leaves at home and at work.
