Caddyshack
Comedy98 min
At an exclusive country club, young caddy Danny Noonan is chasing a scholarship that could get him to college, but first he has to survive the clubhouse politics, win over the snobbish Judge Smails, and make it through the caddies’ golf tournament. Around him, the fairways get crowded fast: Chevy Chase is the cool, detached Ty Webb, Rodney Dangerfield’s Al Czervik barges in with money and no patience for country-club manners, and greenskeeper Carl Spackler (Bill Murray) is locked in a private war with a gopher. Ted Knight’s Judge Smails gives the whole place its rigid pecking order.
