Determined to make her mark in the ring, Toni turns to a retired champion for the training no one else will give her. Luise Großmann is the young boxer pushing past closed doors, while Ving Rhames’s Elliott is a hard-edged ex-titleholder who takes her on despite their instant friction. As coach and fighter grind through punishing sessions, their uneasy alliance becomes the center of the story, with Toni chasing a place in the sport and Elliott forcing her to confront every weakness before the bell.
