Victoria

CrimeDramaRomanceThriller138 min

Laia Costa is Victoria, a young woman from Madrid newly arrived in Berlin, whose post-club flirtation with a local guy turns dangerous when his friends need help repaying a debt before dawn. Frederick Lau’s Sonne starts as the stranger showing her the city, then pulls her into a night that veers from back-alley hangouts and quiet piano bars toward a bank robbery and a scramble across Berlin. Shot in a single continuous take, the film follows Victoria minute by minute as the night shifts from flirtation to panic.
