Jack Reacher: Never Go Back
ActionAdventureCrimeDramaThriller118 min
Years after leaving the Army’s elite military police unit, Tom Cruise’s Jack Reacher returns to Washington expecting a reunion with Major Susan Turner and finds her jailed on an espionage charge instead. Cobie Smulders is Turner, Reacher’s sharp, by-the-book successor, and once the case widens to include the deaths of former soldiers, the two are pushed into a hunt for whoever set her up. Moving from military offices to motels and back roads, the film keeps Reacher in his usual mode: a drifter with a long memory, a short fuse for corruption, and a habit of following trouble straight to its source.
