Drama102 min
Franky is a 23-year-old nurse in East London, living with her large family and fixated on who should answer for a traumatic event from 15 years earlier. Vicky Knight’s Franky struggles to let anyone close until she falls for a patient, Florence (Esmé Creed-Miles). Their escape to the coast, where Florence lives among a more open patchwork family, pulls Franky out of the borough and into a very different kind of home life. As the relationship deepens, the anger and blame Franky has been carrying begin pressing harder against the present.
