Hard-drinking thief Willie Soke climbs back into a Santa suit and teams with his angry partner Marcus to rob a Chicago charity on Christmas Eve. Billy Bob Thornton is Willie, still mean, broke, and running on cheap whiskey, while Tony Cox’s Marcus keeps the scheme moving with his usual resentment close at hand. The job gets worse when Willie’s mother, Sunny (Kathy Bates), barges in with bigger plans and even lower standards. Brett Kelly returns as Thurman Merman, the guileless presence who keeps drifting back into Willie’s orbit, and Christina Hendricks appears as Diane, the charity director caught near the mess.
