James and the Giant Peach

ActionAdventureAnimationFamilyFantasyMusical79 min

After an orphaned boy accidentally spills a bag of magic crocodile tongues, a giant peach erupts in his aunts’ garden and carries him far from home. Paul Terry is James, trapped with the cruel Aunt Spiker and Aunt Sponge — Joanna Lumley and Miriam Margolyes — until he discovers a whole world inside the fruit, including a band of human-sized insect companions. Mixing live action with stop-motion animation, the film sends James from bleak England into a strange, musical adventure with voices from Simon Callow, Richard Dreyfuss, Jane Leeves, Susan Sarandon, and David Thewlis.
