Darkman
ActionAdventureSci-FiThriller96 min
Dr. Peyton Westlake is close to a breakthrough in synthetic skin when gangsters destroy his lab, leaving him burned beyond recognition and changed by an experimental procedure. Liam Neeson is Westlake, now moving through the city as Darkman, using lab-made disguises and his altered strength to track down the men who attacked him. At the same time, he tries to find a way back to Julie Hastings (Frances McDormand), the attorney and former love caught up in the same web of corruption. Sam Raimi’s film mixes mob revenge, damaged identity, and comic-book vigilante mythology.
