Escape from the Planet of the Apes

ActionAdventureSci-Fi98 min

After a spacecraft lands in 20th-century Los Angeles carrying three talking chimpanzees, the world reacts with fascination, publicity, and alarm. Roddy McDowall's Cornelius and Kim Hunter's Zira are cultured visitors from the future, welcomed as scientific marvels even as government officials and researchers begin to wonder what their arrival means for humanity. As interviews, lab tests, and public attention give way to suspicion, the apes find themselves less like honored guests than subjects under watch, forced to look for a way out before curiosity turns into something harsher.
