While We're Young

ComedyDramaMystery97 min

A New York documentary filmmaker and his wife, settled into their 40s and a familiar routine, get pulled into a younger couple’s orbit. Ben Stiller is the stalled filmmaker, with Naomi Watts as his equally curious, increasingly restless partner; across from them, Adam Driver and Amanda Seyfried bring a breezier, handcrafted, downtown energy that feels both inviting and unsettling. As the two couples bond over bikes, hats, art, and documentary work, admiration gives way to generational friction, professional jealousy, and questions about how much of anyone’s persona is performance.
