David Schwimmer is a frustrated, unemployed teacher who falls in with a hustler and his girlfriend for a blackmail scheme. Simon Pegg gives the scammer a slippery, fast-talking edge, with Alice Eve as the third corner of a partnership held together by money problems and bad judgment. As an ordinary man trades the classroom for a criminal sideline, the film keeps its focus on the uneasy chemistry between the three conspirators and the trouble that comes from trying to turn desperation into leverage.
