Lucy and Jane have been best friends for most of their lives, so when Jane announces she’s moving to London, Lucy chooses that moment to share a secret she’s kept for years: she’s gay. Dakota Johnson is Lucy, newly trying to name what she wants, while Sonoya Mizuno’s Jane throws herself into helping and finds their long-running bond shifting in ways neither of them expected. As Lucy starts coming out later than she imagined, the friendship is thrown off balance by awkward timing, crossed signals, and the strain of two women facing big changes at once.
