The Muppet Movie
ActionAdventureComedyFamilyMusical97 min
After a chance meeting with a talent agent, Jim Henson’s Kermit the Frog leaves the swamp and heads for Hollywood, hoping to break into show business. His cross-country trip turns into a rolling Muppet reunion as he picks up Fozzie, Gonzo, Miss Piggy, and other future friends, all chasing the same dream of making it on screen. On their trail is Doc Hopper (Charles Durning), a frog-leg restaurateur determined to turn Kermit into the pitchman for his chain. The road to Los Angeles is packed with songs, sight gags, and a steady stream of celebrity cameos.
