Message from the King
ActionAdventureCrimeDramaMysteryThriller102 min
Chadwick Boseman is Jacob King, a man from Cape Town who arrives in Los Angeles to find his missing younger sister. When he learns she has been murdered, the search turns into a methodical push for answers, pulling him through motel rooms, drug circles, and the polished homes of people with money and protection. Boseman keeps King controlled and watchful as the trail cuts across both street-level operators and the city’s better-dressed enablers, with Alfred Molina and Luke Evans appearing among the figures who stand between him and the truth.
