Hick
ComedyDrama99 min
Thirteen-year-old Luli heads west from Nebraska with pocket money, a pistol, and a plan to reach Las Vegas after leaving her neglectful, abusive home behind. Chloë Grace Moretz is Luli, a guarded teen hitchhiking through truck stops and back roads, where her escape keeps colliding with adults she can’t quite read. On the road she falls in with Eddie (Eddie Redmayne), an unstable rebel with unclear motives, and Blake Lively’s Glenda, a drifter moving through drugs and trouble. The film stays close to Luli as her search for freedom pulls her into riskier territory.
