Amitabh Bachchan is a retired sports teacher who sees possibility in a group of teenagers from a nearby slum and starts building them into a football team. Inspired by the life of Vijay Barse, the film follows his effort to turn a bunch of local troublemakers into disciplined players, using the game to push back against the stigma and limits around them. Ankush Gedam appears among the young ensemble, with Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru also part of the larger cast surrounding the team and its community.
