My Tutor
ComedyDramaRomance97 min
After failing French and putting Yale at risk, high school senior Bobby Chrystal spends the summer with a private tutor his wealthy, authoritarian father hires to prepare him for a make-up exam. Matt Lattanzi is Bobby, pulled between college pressure, sex-fixated friends, and the unexpected attention waiting at home. Caren Kaye is the 29-year-old tutor brought in to keep him on track, while Kevin McCarthy's father sees the arrangement as one more way to manage his son. Built around one hot summer before college, the story mixes teen sex comedy with a coming-of-age romance that quickly complicates the tutoring plan.
