Bad Education

CrimeDrama106 min

In Spain, a film director is visited by a man from his Catholic-school past, once his closest friend and first love, who arrives with a story he wants turned into a movie. As the director reads, the script pulls him back to their childhood and into a tale of abuse, reinvention, and revenge that may be confession, performance, or something more dangerous. Their reunion turns into a shifting mystery as identities blur, old wounds reopen, and a murder plot begins to surface through layers of memory and fiction. Gael García Bernal and Fele Martínez lead a story that keeps recasting the past while the truth grows harder to pin down.
