Shallow Grave

CrimeDramaThriller93 min

In Edinburgh, flatmates David, Juliet, and Alex think they’ve found a windfall when their new roommate is discovered dead beside a suitcase full of cash. Kerry Fox is Juliet, sharing the apartment with Christopher Eccleston’s David and Ewan McGregor’s Alex, three self-involved young professionals whose decision to hide the body and keep the money turns their home into a nest of suspicion. Danny Boyle’s debut keeps the pressure close to the flat, where greed, secrecy, and distrust start eating away at a friendship that looked solid from the outside.
