Seeking a Friend for the End of the World
ActionAdventureComedyDramaRomanceSci-Fi101 min
As an asteroid closes in on Earth, a newly abandoned man decides to drive across the country and reconnect with his high school sweetheart before time runs out. Steve Carell is Dodge, whose tightly controlled plan is upended by a neighbor who joins the trip; Keira Knightley gives her an offhand, impulsive counterpoint. Their route becomes a last-days road trip built around missed chances, unfinished business, and the awkward intimacy of two near-strangers sharing a car while the world outside keeps sliding toward panic.
