Nineteen-year-old Madhumati arrives in Vizag for a family wedding, but the trip shifts course after a clash with her mother leaves her angry and unmoored. Far from the life she knows as an Indo-American teenager, she finds herself looking at family, expectation, and adulthood from a different angle. Elsewhere in the city, Madhusudhan is separated, out of work, and struggling with a marriage to Lekha that seems to be slipping away. When Madhumati and Madhusudhan cross paths one evening, their meeting pulls two unsettled lives into the same orbit, as each tries to sort through distance, disappointment, and what it means to move forward.
