The Mask

ComedyCrimeFamilyFantasyRomance101 min

Stanley Ipkiss is a shy bank clerk whose life flips when he finds an ancient mask that turns him into a green-faced alter ego with cartoon physics, swagger, and no filter. Jim Carrey sends Stanley’s buried frustration and wish-fulfillment into overdrive as the mask blows up his routine with nightclub chaos, police trouble, and a collision with the city’s criminal underworld. Cameron Diaz is part of the upheaval around Stanley, while his dog Milo gets dragged into the mayhem too. The film blends crime-movie plotting with surreal transformations, slapstick, and a stream of wisecracks from a hero who can reshape himself and the world around him.
