In New York City, Alice is trying to figure out what being single actually looks like while the people around her chase everything from commitment to casual hookups. Dakota Johnson is Alice, and Robin (Rebel Wilson) brings a very different approach as the film follows a wider circle that includes Lucy, Meg, Tom, and David. Their overlapping lives turn on nights out, mixed signals, and the shifting definitions of love and independence in a city where no two relationships seem to work the same way.
