Too Big to Fail

Drama99 min

As the 2008 financial crisis accelerates, a tight circle of bankers, regulators, and political figures scrambles through a few decisive weeks that could take down the global economy. William Hurt and Paul Giamatti are part of a crowded ensemble charting the negotiations, emergency calls, and public fallout as collapsing institutions force Washington and Wall Street into constant contact. Billy Crudup, Cynthia Nixon, James Woods, and Topher Grace fill out the corridors of power, where decisions made behind closed doors carry consequences far beyond the conference room.
