Mission: Impossible II

ActionAdventureThriller123 min

Ethan Hunt is sent to stop a rogue former IMF agent from using a genetically engineered virus as leverage, a mission that pulls him through Australia and Spain and into close quarters with a professional thief tied to the man he’s hunting. Tom Cruise returns as Hunt, with computer genius Luther Stickell (Ving Rhames) back on the team. Thandiwe Newton’s Nyah Nordoff-Hall becomes both an asset and a complication as the operation turns personal. Directed by John Woo, the film builds its spy plot around masks, undercover games, and set pieces involving cliff faces, helicopters, and a high-speed motorcycle chase.
