In a war-torn near-future Sweden, Noomi Rapace’s Caroline Edh — once a speed skater, now a reluctant soldier — is assigned to a mission that could end the conflict and lead her back to her daughter. She joins a small military unit ordered to cross a frozen sea behind enemy lines, carrying a sealed package to a remote research base with almost no information about what it contains. Jakob Oftebro and Dar Salim are among the soldiers on the crossing, where the landscape is as dangerous as the enemy: open ice, brutal cold, and nowhere to hide.
