Thelma
ActionAdventureComedy98 min
When 93-year-old Thelma Post is duped by a caller pretending to be her grandson, she decides to track down the scammer herself. June Squibb is Thelma, crossing Los Angeles on a determined mission to reclaim what was taken, with help from an aging friend (Richard Roundtree) and a worried grandson, played by Fred Hechinger. What begins with a familiar phone scam turns into a citywide chase shaped by Thelma’s stubborn independence, her bond with her grandson, and the practical complications of mounting a revenge mission well into old age.
