Paige Morgan is a pre-med student in Wisconsin, focused on her future and not especially interested in campus flirtations until an offbeat Danish exchange student upends her routine. Julia Stiles is Paige, a farmer’s daughter with plans that don’t include royalty; Luke Mably’s Eddie is actually Prince Edvard, hiding out in the U.S. to escape palace expectations and try ordinary college life. As their attraction grows, everyday campus scenes—classes, parties, chores, family pressure—keep colliding with the rules and scrutiny attached to his title.
