Force Majeure
ComedyDrama120 min
On a ski vacation in the French Alps, a Swedish family’s carefully managed routine fractures after an apparent avalanche sends diners scrambling and Tomas bolts before his wife and children. Johannes Kuhnke is Tomas, whose split-second reaction lingers long after the snow settles, while Lisa Loven Kongsli’s Ebba refuses to let the moment pass as a misunderstanding. Back at the resort, small conversations, awkward meals and attempts to resume the holiday turn the trip into a tense standoff over marriage, parental roles and the version of himself Tomas wants the family to believe in.
