In 2027, fifteen years after electricity stops working across the world, a young woman sets out for answers after a militia kills her father — a man who secretly had a connection to the blackout. Tracy Spiridakos leads the story as she joins an unlikely group moving through a society pushed back into a new dark age, with Billy Burke and Giancarlo Esposito among the central faces around her. As the search widens, the series ties family loss to a bigger mystery about what happened to the power and who might still know the truth.
