T2 Trainspotting

ComedyCrimeDrama117 min

After 20 years abroad, Mark Renton returns to Edinburgh and back into the orbit of the friends he once betrayed. Ewan McGregor is Renton, reuniting with Sick Boy, Spud (Ewen Bremner), and Robert Carlyle’s Begbie as old grudges, unfinished business, and familiar temptations close in. Danny Boyle brings the original crew together for a reunion shaped by revenge, blackmail, theft, and the pull of old habits, with the city’s bars, clubs, and cramped flats replacing any idea of a clean start.
