Our Brand Is Crisis

ComedyDrama108 min

When a struggling Bolivian presidential campaign hires an elite team of American consultants, Sandra Bullock is “Calamity” Jane Bodine, a once-feared strategist coaxed out of retirement after a scandal. Her return quickly turns personal: Billy Bob Thornton’s Pat Candy, a longtime rival, is running the opposition and knows exactly how to get under her skin. Anthony Mackie and Ann Dowd are part of Jane’s campaign machine as the story tracks imported political messaging, media manipulation, and the uneasy line between winning an election and manufacturing a national crisis.
