An aging professional thief is ready to retire and live off what he’s already stolen, until a younger operator draws him into one last job: stealing a scepter from a tightly watched customs house in Quebec. Robert De Niro is the veteran criminal trying to keep the plan controlled and quiet, while Edward Norton brings a slippery edge to the newcomer working under an assumed identity. Marlon Brando's fixer stands over the operation from the sidelines as blueprints, surveillance cameras, and new technology turn the theft into a meticulous game of timing and trust.
