Unicorn Store

ComedyDramaFantasy92 min

After washing out of art school, Kit moves back in with her parents and takes an office job that feels far from the life she imagined. Brie Larson's Kit is still holding onto her handmade, childlike sense of wonder when a strange invitation arrives, offering a chance to fulfill her oldest dream: adopting a unicorn. Samuel L. Jackson is the enigmatic salesman tied to that offer, while Joan Cusack and Bradley Whitford turn up as Kit’s puzzled, supportive parents. Directed by Larson, the film keeps one foot in everyday adulthood and the other in a brightly colored fantasy that Kit isn’t ready to give up.
