The Wailing

DramaHorrorMystery156 min

When a Japanese stranger appears in a remote Korean village, a rash of sickness, violent deaths, and rumors of possession begins to spread. Kwak Do-won is the local policeman pulled into the investigation, at first treating the cases as rural panic and then watching the fear reach his own home as his daughter falls ill. As suspicion gathers around the outsider (Jun Kunimura), the search for answers turns toward shamans, exorcisms, and conflicting signs no one can fully explain. What starts as a police case keeps slipping into something older, stranger, and harder to contain.
