My Favourite Cake

ComedyDramaRomance97 min

In Tehran, an older woman who has spent years living quietly decides she no longer wants her life narrowed by rules, routine, and constant restraint. She begins reaching for pleasures and freedoms she has long denied herself, moving through a city where even ordinary choices are shaped by strict limits on women. A chance connection opens the door to companionship and romance, and what starts as a small act of independence grows into something riskier and more intimate. As she follows her own desires, private hope and public pressure collide, turning a simple evening into a test of how much space she can claim for herself.
