Imprisoned after accidentally killing a man, a martial arts instructor sees a path to freedom when a killer starts targeting martial arts masters across Hong Kong. Donnie Yen is the convicted kung fu expert who offers to help the police identify the next victim and track the murderer before another challenge turns deadly. What follows moves through police work and hand-to-hand combat, with each attack tied to a fighter’s reputation and style, pushing the case deeper into the city’s martial arts circles.
