The Client

CrimeDramaMysteryThriller119 min

After 11-year-old Mark Sway witnesses a lawyer’s suicide and learns where a senator’s body is buried, he’s caught between federal investigators and a Mafia killer who both suspect he knows more than he’s saying. Brad Renfro is Mark, a kid suddenly pulled into courtrooms, interrogations, and witness protection talk he’s too young to handle. Susan Sarandon’s attorney is the one adult willing to stand between him and the pressure, while Tommy Lee Jones closes in as the prosecutor determined to make the boy talk. As the case widens, Mark’s secret becomes leverage for everyone around him.
