The Legend Is Born: Ip Man

ActionAdventureDramaFamilyRomance100 min

In early 20th-century China, a young Ip Man grows from an eager student into a disciplined Wing Chun fighter, learning not just technique but how status, loyalty, and rivalry shape every bout. As he studies under respected masters, tensions inside the martial arts community turn personal, and clashes between schools force him to defend both his name and his principles. Family expectations and a budding romance pull against the demands of training, while old grudges keep escalating into public challenges. Dennis To leads the story as Ip Man, following the years that shape the man before he becomes a legend.
