My Brilliant Friend
Drama56 min per episode
When her most important friend disappears without a trace, Elena Greco, now an elderly woman in a house full of books, turns on her computer and begins writing the story of their friendship. The series moves back through Elena and Lila’s lives in post-WWII Italy, tracing a bond that deepens and frays as the two girls grow up together. Margherita Mazzucco and Gaia Girace lead the story’s early chapters, with the writing frame holding both memory and the distance of old age.
